I really want to express my thanks to everyone. We won the award. To me…no award is too big or too small. A tonne is a tonne…an award is an award. I am humbled by this award. It is the first for me.

I love my art and I am very passionate about it. It brings me so much joy when my art is also appreciated by others. There are so many photography awards out there, most of them are paid for however when people truly appreciate you and decided by themselves to celebrate you…this is truly amazing.

Tai Solarin said if a man is good at what he does, the world will build a road to his door. Whoever you are, keep that flame burning, the road is coming. Be different…be you. I know this is an essay…but this is the first for me….many more to come.

This is for every underdog….whose art is bigger than a name. Thank you…thank you thank you.
